Army suicide rate highest in 30 years
“In January…we lost more soldiers to suicide than to al Qaeda.” said Paul Rieckhoff, the founder and executive director of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America when he appeared on The Rachel Maddow Show this week.
Rieckhoff said that his group is advocating for mandatory mental health counseling and advance funding of the VA.
